If my feet could talk, they probably have given me a good nag left and right. I was just in York yesterday, and today’s a different story. I’m still tired from the past few days and it feels like it’s gonna last forever. LOL. A month-long vacation may seem quite some time but when you’re enjoying, the clock just ticks so fast. So instead of staying in the flat all day glued to my phone, I thought it would be better to go on a day trip somewhere. Somewhere is generally a nice place especially when you’re not in your homeland, so much so in Europe.
Antwerp, Belgium
I think every Filipino dreams of going abroad for work, may it just be for a week or for months. Being sent somewhere to attend trainings, meetings, or even work also meant a chance to travel at the same time. That’s exactly what happened to me last year when I flew to the Netherlands and decided to visit the land of Belgian waffles. LOL.
Tokyo, Japan
While a lot of countries all over the world are planning and maybe still adapting with technology, Japan just had it all figured out. They are way ahead and they are the exact definition of the “FUTURE.” I maybe exaggerating but, I was there, I saw it, I experienced it firsthand. It amazes me to think what else in this world of technology could they be cooking up, Artificial Intelligence perhaps? But seriously, who knows what’s next?
Japan | Enoshima & Kamakura
Do you have any idea how amazing the internet works? Well, I’m an IT guy but am still amazed of how broad and smart the internet is. I have no idea about Enoshima and Kamakura at first and I only remember Google-ing places to visit in Japan near Tokyo when suddenly, Facebook is recommending places and showing me all sorts of things I need to know and go to when in Tokyo. Not sure if I make any sense, but yes! I found a must-visit area where you are surrounded with waters, beautiful landscapes, temples, food and definitely away from the hustle and bustle Tokyo and its skyscrapers.
Japan | Kawaguchiko
I crave food, but I also crave space and sometimes we just really need to go off on our own. My travel this time is a whole lot different from my previous ones because I am not just flying out to a local destination, but I am actually beginning my journey in pursuing solo travel and I am going to set it off with Japan, the Land of the Rising Sun.
