Temple Ruins of Angkor

The otherworldly experience around the Angkor Archaeological Park should be in your bucket list like it’s a non-negotiable item! The temples are mind-blowing in photos but wait until you see it in actual. It’s also interesting to see a different image of temples as opposed to what we normally see around Asia, and I must say that these ruins are so unique that you’d want re-live the past just to see a glimpse of what it’s like during its prominence. These temples, just by looking at it, are filled with so much stories that can’t be told in a day and I just can’t stop thinking how it turned out to be like a huge masterpiece over time that stretches to more than 400 square kilometers. JUST WOW.

Five Fingers & Laki Beach

Looking back at the moments that make up my 2017 I must say that it was, indeed, another eventful year for me. Not just for me, but for my family and everyone else and that’s for sure. Good times and bad times, no matter what happened we all deserve to congratulate ourselves for making it, yet again, to the finish line of this roller coaster life we are all riding in this year. And before this year actually goes to an end, the beach bum inside me wanted to take one last trip to seal 2017 the best way possible. And as much as I love winter season outside the country, truth be told that it’s always summer in my heart.

Lakawon Island

I didn’t know what to feel when I got a prompt from Lakawon Island’s website that the TawHai Floating Bar will be unavailable during our stay due to maintenance and improvements. The reason I acted out is that everything was already set. We booked our room and paid for the floating bar experience prior learning that we wouldn’t be able to try it ourselves. I also read a blog that the Lakawon Island is just a mere beach like every other beach and the only thing that makes it special is the TawHai Floating Bar. But I was there and I tell you, it’s not your typical beach like what other people are saying! 😛
