Bacolod City (of Smiles)

The Ruins. It’s the first thing that comes to my mind whenever I hear of Bacolod City, which is often referred as the City of Smiles. I have come to ask why is it that I rarely see people smiling? The locals really need to live up with its slogan. LOL. Nevertheless, this city without a doubt left a big smile on my face as I tick off this place on my travel bucket list.

Lakawon Island

I didn’t know what to feel when I got a prompt from Lakawon Island’s website that the TawHai Floating Bar will be unavailable during our stay due to maintenance and improvements. The reason I acted out is that everything was already set. We booked our room and paid for the floating bar experience prior learning that we wouldn’t be able to try it ourselves. I also read a blog that the Lakawon Island is just a mere beach like every other beach and the only thing that makes it special is the TawHai Floating Bar. But I was there and I tell you, it’s not your typical beach like what other people are saying! 😛

Artesania MNL Café

I clearly remember that I thought of taking Fine Arts when I reach college back when I was still in elementary school. It was a childhood dream. I was the usual kid back then who loved, and still loves, watching cartoons and drawing random stuff. But as time flies, I realized that the course wasn’t really meant for me. I was destined to be someone else. Nonetheless, art has always been a part of my life. From editing photos to curating my Instagram feed. In fact, it’s an integral part of life for some people.
