The Giving Café

I had been to a lot of different cafes and am still looking for new ones because I kinda fancy being out on weekends enjoying my free time, catching up with friends, writing up for my blog or sometimes doing some work while I am enjoying a cup of coffee. Caffeine plays a great role in our daily lives. Well, for me. And you know what I mean if you are procaffeinating like me. LOL.

Manjuyod Sandbar

It was already our last day but we still had the entire morning to explore Negros Oriental. Thank goodness Manjuyod Sandbar is an hour or two away from Dumaguete City and without a doubt, we made sure to visit the so called “Maldives of the Philippines.”

Apo Island

Dumaguete City is the capital of the province of Negros Oriental and is popular to foreign tourists because of easy access from Cebu City through a ferry ride. I don’t know if it’s just me but I think there’s really nothing much to see in the town proper of Dumaguete aside from the famous Silliman University. I checked some itineraries before and I saw that Apo Island and Manjuyod Sandbar are the primary reasons why travelers and tourists visit this province.

Siquijor Island

Had I only known that there are ‘Aswang’ and ‘Mambabarang’ tales in Siquijor, then I would’ve probably did not even consider pushing through this trip especially that I went solo. But thank goodness I had no idea then about these crazy stories because I tell you, Siquijor has so much in store for travelers who love picturesque views of nature and outdoor activities. So happy that I did not miss any of these because of some popular myths and legends about this island.
